This is currently a prototype setup utilizing MAF adapters to allow our N63 Intake to work with the N63R.  This has been confirmed on several N63R vehicles, including our M550, to function perfectly on both the stock tune and BM3 Stage 1 and 2.  The MAF sensor housings have been pre-tapped for correct placement of the N63R MAF sensors.

The ARM Motorsports N63R Intake for the G30 M550i is the perfect upgrade if you’re looking for improved throttle response and turbo sound.  Installation is easy and straightforward, with no cutting or drilling required. The ARM N63R Intake is engineered to fit perfectly onto your G30 M550i, seamlessly integrating with the existing OEM turbo inlets.

The ARM N63R Intake is designed to keep the filters as far away from the heat of the turbos as possible. The filters are positioned at the front of the engine bay, where it can take advantage of the fresh air that is directed into the engine compartment from the OEM air ducts just below where they live.  This position helps to keep the filters away from the heat generated by the turbos, which can cause the filters to become saturated and reduce its effectiveness.  If you’re looking to get your N63R the coolest possible air, consider the ARM Front Facing Upgrade.

FRONT FACING UPGRADE

The ARM N63R Intake is available with an optional Front Facing Upgrade which relocates the filters from the engine bay, to behind the front grille.  This option allows your N63R to draw in cooler air than the engine bay setup can offer.  The optional Front Facing Upgrade is the ideal setup for your N63R if you’re looking to maximize power.  The Front Facing Upgrade involves removing the factory active grille system if your vehicle is equipped with it.

With either setup, the standard filter location or the Front Facing Upgrade, you will receive the ARM Dry Filters.  The ARM Dry Air Filters included in the kit are made of high quality multimedia material designed to allow maximum airflow to your engine while providing effective filtration.  These filters are engineered with multiple layers of filtration media, including a high-flowing synthetic fiber layer that captures even the smallest particles, while allowing for maximum airflow to the engine. The ARM Dry Filters help to ensure that your engine has the most airflow available while being protected from harmful contaminants.
